There are various unit styles available to our guests. See descriptions below.

All units have private washrooms, coffee makers with complimentary coffee and tea, high-speed wired or WIFI high-speed internet access, cable TV. Hair dryers & iron/ironing board are available upon request. Many people ask about air conditioning. Air conditioners are not used by any accommodation provider in Ucluelet due to the mild climate here. There are only a few days each year where temperatures climb above 25C. Should you happen to stay on one of these hot days, we can provide you with a fan to make your stay more comfortable.

This is a family run motel that strives to provide clean and comfortable units. We do not strive to be the cheapest or most expensive accommodation in town – just the cleanest and friendliest! Our beds are brand new this year. High-end amenities such as fireplaces, king size beds, etc. are available at more upscale resorts and hotels.

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY:

When you ask us to reserve a unit, it is, “pulled off the shelf”. Reservation requests from other parties are refused. A deposit equal to the first night stay + tax is required at time of booking via major credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express). Deposit will be refunded minus a $50.00 plus tax fee per unit reserved when cancellations are made more than 7 days prior to the check in date. No refund will be made when cancellation, date change or unscheduled early departure is made 7 days or less prior to the check in date or the guest does not arrive on the specified arrival date, unless we can rent the unit for all the booked nights. Should your trip be interrupted due to illness or family emergency, this cost can be covered by trip cancellation insurance if you purchase it.

HOUSE RULES

CHECK IN 3 PM - 10 PM (Make arrangements for the key if arriving late). CHECK OUT 11 AM. Late check out is unavailable, however we do offer baggage storage and after check out showers (with towels, soap and shampoo provided) or access to our indoor pool/sauna and 3000 square foot fitness centre.

QUIET TIME 10PM TO 9AM. No unregistered guests after hours or behaviour disturbing others will be tolerated.

NO SMOKING - outside only, away from open doors and windows to avoid smoke smell in your unit or the smell disturbing other guests.

NO PETS - no pets on the property, including in vehicles parked outside your unit. Pet friendly accommodation is available in town – ask us.

Economy minded?

Choose a Euro sleeper – double bed or 2 twin beds. No view. Recommended for short stays and those that like smaller spaces. Maximum 2 guests.

Like to cook?

We have fully-equipped kitchenettes with full stove and oven, microwave and bar fridge, pots and pans, cutlery, dishes, kettle and coffee maker! Some will have just a queen bed, some will have a queen and single bed! Units can sleep 2 – 5 depending on the type. No view. There are 2 bedroom kitchenettes available, as well – see bottom of page.

Love the view?

Pick a spacious West Coast unit. These units will have 2 queen beds and a balcony on the harbour side (no children under 12) or they will have 2 queen beds and a single bed on the ground floor on the harbour side (child friendly). All West Coast units will have a small refrigerator, microwave and wet bar. 5 guests maximum – 6 with a cot (extra charge and dependent upon availability).

Have a crowd?

Pick a 2 bedroom unit. All units have full kitchen and living room. Kitchens are fully equipped with stove and oven, microwave, bar fridge, pots and pans, cutlery, dishes, kettle and coffee makers. No view. 6 – 7 guests maximum.

Need a whole house?

Steps to the boat harbour and the motel, our 4 bedroom “Fisherman’s House” with spacious deck and BBQ with beautiful view. Can sleep up to 11-12 persons and is very suited to 2 related family groups or a large group. It has 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms with 4 queen beds, 2 twin beds and 2 hide a beds. It is just a few steps to the boat harbour. We renovated the inside last year, motel style, meaning that there is no Jacuzzi or granite countertops or high end style finishing. However, it is really spacious with 9 foot ceilings, new furniture, carpets, paint and draperies. Daily housekeeping in the mornings (not common with house rentals) and free access to the fitness centre. Complimentary coffee and tea with high-speed, wired (LAN) internet in the home with 2 outlets.
